OKARO released “SUMMER” and it’s a standout hit from this powerful artist!
This song is an absolute dope trip, from mind-altering synths to a totally relaxing and gentle mesmerizing sound. What you can’t miss is the most impactful part of this song which is the tremendous vocal presentation of OKARO, which are both interesting and captivating in nature. Very softly the words are presented and they mix alongside the music so perfectly, that each one holds its own, which creates a very cohesive and bold final result. It's not often you hear vocals that blend so seamlessly with the supporting arrangement like this. One thing you will find yourself doing is closing your eyes and swinging from side to side, just the sound of OKARO’s voice becoming its very own instrument. The way OKARO’s voice weaves in and out of the synths is pretty mind-blowing, honestly.
What really made the track unique was how the song sneaks up on you. At first, you're just bopping along, and then suddenly you realize you're totally immersed in this dreamy soundscape. It's like a musical quicksand but in the best way possible.
The musical arrangement production is beautiful and when paired with the vocals is such a perfect choice of angelic sounds. The production quality is on point too. Everything sounds crisp and clear, but not over-polished. It's got that perfect balance of raw emotion and studio magic. You can tell a lot of thought went into crafting this sonic experience. The overall vibe of this track is just so chill, you can't help but get lost in it. It's like the music and vocals are having this awesome conversation, and you're just there for the ride.
The cool thing was that there’s more. If you wanna see something really trippy and super wild, then you need to check out the visualizer. With OKARO as our protagonist, it starts with her very close to the screen and staring at us, but also right through us, right through the screen. It definitely gave us chills. When the lyrics begin she has now turned around and walked away from us. It’s got an eerie yet exciting sensation. You’re waiting on the edge of your seat for this visualizer to reveal its intentions. Then we read the lyrics, “In the villa saw you and time stood stilla, what can I say running out of time still I’m ready to waste it all with you”. This is some dope stuff!
We think Okaro is a tremendous rising star and you should check out all of her releases, especially this latest one “SUMMER”.
