Rising rock sensation Towa Bird has teamed up with Vevo to deliver fiery live renditions of her tracks “Drain Me!” and “Sorry Sorry,” celebrating her inclusion in Vevo’s prestigious DSCVR Artists to Watch 2025 campaign.
Vevo, the leading global music video network, has officially revealed its eagerly awaited “DSCVR Artists to Watch” list for 2025. Now in its eleventh year, this highly respected program highlights emerging artists poised to dominate the music world.

Vevo has a track record of spotlighting breakthrough talent. Alumni of the program include iconic names like Sam Smith (2014), Billie Eilish (2018), and Ice Spice (2023). This year’s DSCVR Artist of the Year honor went to Chappell Roan, whose meteoric rise has included record-breaking festival appearances and a sold-out international tour.
ABOUT TOWA BIRD
Half-Filipino and half-English, Towa Bird grew up in Thailand and London, shaping her musical identity by exploring her father’s vinyl collection and teaching herself guitar at 12. She formed her first band as a teenager, performing at local events in Hong Kong before studying music at Goldsmiths, University of London. After leaving college to pursue her artistic passion, Towa began producing and co-writing music for others while posting viral videos of her electrifying guitar solos over genre-spanning tracks.
Her distinctive style caught the attention of artists like Willow Smith and Tyler, the Creator, leading to a contract with Interscope Records. Towa’s debut album, American Hero, released in 2024, is a raw and reflective journey through identity, queerness, and love.
Following the album’s success, Towa hit the road with Reneé Rapp, mesmerizing audiences across North America and Europe.
