"Seven Red Lions Unleashes Cinematic Rock Energy in New Music Video 'Hurry Up'"

We had the chance to experience Seven Red Lions' "Hurry Up" music video, and right out of the gate, it's electrifying—probably one of the best video openers we’ve ever seen. The opening scene is well shot and acted, featuring a tense phone call where a man, speaking Spanish, says, "We have to kill this bastard," with a firearm tucked into his waistband. Immediately, you know this isn’t going to be your average music video.

With stunning shots of a classic ‘60s Mustang, the music explodes onto the scene, accompanied by dynamic rolling shots of the characters in what is clearly shaping up to be a gripping story. The lead singer delivers some terrific, powerful vocals right from the start. If you’ve ever enjoyed a Netflix thriller, you’ll love this video—it's beautifully shot, with the perfect musical support to match. What stood out to us was the emphatic vocal presentation, perfectly conveying the sense of urgency and tension within the storyline. The deep, growling delivery of the vocals is both unique and captivating, offering something rarely heard in today’s music scene.

The drums are packed with high-energy fills, keeping the momentum intense and engaging. The guitars soar, seamlessly pulling off mini solos that weave in and out of the track, adding an exciting element to the overall sound. We especially enjoyed the guitar drops that allowed the singer to take center stage, painting a vivid picture of the character being hunted by an enemy.

Credit is due to the production, direction, acting, and costuming of this video. It’s not just a music video—it feels like a well-executed short film, adding significant weight to an already powerful musical track. This genre can easily slip into cheesiness if mishandled, but Seven Red Lions nailed it, making it feel gritty and authentic.

Returning to the guitars and vocals, there’s a climactic explosion of the singer’s voice that serves as a perfect precursor to a major event in the video. It’s timed impeccably to match the unfolding action, adding to the suspense. We won’t spoil any more, but if you’ve got a few minutes and want to experience the energy of an action-packed movie compressed into three minutes, this is where you should invest your time. With outstanding music, excellent production, and a mix and mastering that balances grit with high-quality sound, "Hurry Up" by Seven Red Lions is a must-watch—and a must-listen.
