The duo Wet Leg gave us the original and now The Twin Doors brings us a more punchy rock feel, but sticks with the high energy blues-laden sound with their release of “Wet Dream”.

This track is automatically fun and you will want to sing along but somehow the vocal performance for this version feels like a different and fresh perspective. With a gritty raw vocal performance, you will likely jump around at any local venue whether hearing this live or off a jukebox (do they even exist anymore?).

Undergoing some lineup changes The Twin Doors consists of August Mårtensson (vocals), Jonas Brantryd (guitar), Kiko Sjöberg (keys), John Conlon (bass), and Albin Samuelsson (drums). The fuller band sound really compliments the delivery of this song. You can definitely notice it in over-the-ear headphones.

Great work on the engineering side as it was produced, mixed, and mastered by Jonas Brantryd at the Rollin Sound Studio. Dare I say I love this version a bit more... it really has great harmonies and the guitars are so rolling and full that they really compliment the drums. I compared tempos and this new arrangement brought to us by The Twin Doors is probably the same speed but feels faster and has more urgency that gives me a “lets fuckin go feeling!” The band members pulled off some great performances and really unleashed a wilder feel the song seemed to have the potential for.

This release is the second installment in a series of singles that will be unveiled throughout the year. It showcases the incredible range and diversity of talent that this band possesses.
