The Honeyboys "Green Tea" song is self-described by the band as “the lyrics remain intimate, detail"

"Green Tea" is an upbeat but dreamy sound but tells us this relationship may not make it because ”maybe we’re not meant to be”. The 80’s influence on this track is really apparent making it a fun retro listen. We perused their Instagram page and not only do they have some great fan shots but the comment section is full of positive feedback on this band's new release. The track finished and jumped to “Grapevine Pt. 1” on their Spotify popular list and we loved the elements of funk it displayed. With a little J Timberlake influence and all wrapped up in a romantic crooning, this song falls into a rap that is asking for forgiveness with a R&B spit that we absolutely adored. The ending drops into a harmonic and almost angelic pause but then bounces right back. Their live shows must be absolutely nuts!!!! Honeyboys is a band based out of San Luis Obispo, CA. The single "Green Tea" is one of the twelve tracks that will appear on their upcoming album set to release in February.
