Peach Pit’s latest release, Magpie, is here to take you on a captivating musical journey that only deepens their incredible trajectory since Sweet FA.

Peach Pit’s highly anticipated new album, Magpie, brings an intricate blend of indie rock roots and fresh influences, capturing a reflective and heartfelt journey. This Vancouver four-piece—Neil Smith, Chris Vanderkooy, Peter Wilton, and Mikey Pascuzzi—deliver an album rich in expansive arrangements and deeply resonant songwriting, a style that has defined their impressive rise since Sweet FA in 2016. Magpie is packed with eleven tracks that see Peach Pit diving into classic sounds and carving out a style entirely their own.

Today, Peach Pit unveils the shimmering single "Every Little Thing," a quintessential gem that bursts with sunny vocals, looping guitars, and a catchy chorus, echoing the guitar heroics of George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass. Reflecting on the song, Neil Smith shares, “I wrote this song after taking a tab of acid…Once the acid kicked in, I started writing as though the devil was talking to me…In the end, the song is loosely a conversation between me and this devil character who meets me in hell, offers me a drink, and says he’s been expecting me.”

As Atwood Magazine puts it, “Magpie…further solidifies this album’s positioning as a deeply retrospective, contemplative record.” And true to form, Magpie is jangly, powerful, and wholly unforgettable.
