The Hip Hop influence on this track, "One Shot" sits so comfortably with this artist. LA music producer and creator, Summi’s rapping ability is excellent and leads the rhythm rather than following, which makes for a great listen. The haunting and eerie harmonies slide in and out but maintain a nice pairing with the editing. I got a ska-reggae influence that made me smell hints of “Ghost Town” by The Specials, but it's so barely there I needed like 5 listens in before pulling that out and I must say Summi really put a sweet taste of this influence without “taking” from it all at the same time. Nice job.
