On February 14, acclaimed vocalist and musician Kellin Quinn, best known as the frontman of Sleeping with Sirens, announced his highly anticipated solo project, Haunted Mouths. His debut album, A Collection of Greetings, was released via Rise Records. Alongside the announcement, the first single and opening track, "Further Til We Disappear," became available for streaming.
Inspired by Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way, this album marked a bold new chapter for Kellin. A Collection of Greetings is a deeply personal love letter—both literal and figurative—woven into a hauntingly beautiful sonic landscape. The project’s name, Haunted Mouths, paid tribute to a cemetery near Kellin’s childhood home, perfectly reflecting the album’s ethereal and moody essence.
"Further Til We Disappear" set the tone for the record, blending intimate storytelling with a cinematic sound. The song carried coded references to Kellin’s life and longtime marriage, making it resonate both universally and personally. “That song mentions many of my wife’s favorite things and different things we share. The whole record is a love letter to her,” Kellin explained. “I didn’t want to make a pop album or an acoustic record. It needed to be dark, drony, haunting, but beautiful.”
Produced and co-written alongside Aaron Marsh of Copeland, A Collection of Greetings came together seamlessly in just two weeks. The album featured ten tracks that shifted gracefully between atmospheric, sparse, and meditative soundscapes, offering fans an unexpected yet familiar side of Kellin’s artistry.
