Bang's latest release, "Hold On," is a captivating track that seamlessly blends a badass energy with a sweet, soothing vibe. From the outset, the artist's delivery is as smooth and comforting as resting your head on the softest, silkiest pillow imaginable. As the song progresses, however, Bang picks up the pace, creating a sense of urgency and motion, almost like you're running alongside the music. Beneath the surface, it's clear that this track is infused with raw emotion and the genuine heart, mind and thoughts of this talented artist. The music alone manages to evoke a range of feelings, from a childlike lullaby to a subtle hint of horror movie tension; it’s very dynamic. The intently strummed guitars and piano keys that sound like they are droplets falling from the sky contribute to this ever-shifting atmosphere, while the thumping beat and "bum bum bum" cadence of the lyrics pull you in. According to the artist, "Hold On" was created to reach out to those with broken hearts, the disillusioned, and those seeking an escape from life's madness. It's a song intended to provide a sense of hope and healing, and that intention is palpable in the captivating, chill-inducing soundscape. We have to say though, the vocals really take the #1 spot in the song. We've been thoroughly captivated by Bang's music, and "Hold On" is a prime example of why. This track redefines the concept of "chill," offering a listening experience that is both deeply relaxing and profoundly moving. If you need to unwind and find solace, be sure to check out, playlist, and share "Hold On", by Bang – it's a must-listen.

We had a chance to get this artist in The Cage with us and learn more about them and we wanted to share it with you!

Here’s what we learned:

When did you start making music? Can you tell the fans something they might not know about you that you feel is important to understanding why you create music?

I started making music on a serious level after highschool. Around 2018. I was at a point of figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. I found a love for creating music and went to school for it and the rest is history. I create music to inspire love in this world. To make those lonely nights feel comforting with my sounds. To bring unity in this world.

What first sparked the passion for you to create music?

My passion has always been there since a child. Growing up around Desi music, it has always been a huge part of my life. Singing Hindi songs all around the house but not knowing a single word of what I was saying. I just felt so free singing them. Later in life, my best friend Kile really introduced me into creating our own music to share with the world. And I am forever grateful for him showing me that.

Can you walk us through your songwriting process and where the inspiration comes from for this latest project?

My song writing process is very unorthodox and all over the place. There is never a true process to it, I go all by feeling. This song was created after a heart break. I was down so bad but I found light through love and god and it just translated into the music. My music is only a vessel of God. I am just the messenger.

Where do you create your music, i.e. in a home recording studio or with a producer? How do you finalize your finished work, ie self-mixed/mastered or another source?

I create my music all in my bedroom in my apartment. I prefer that over any studio, any day. There is just something sentimental about it that cannot be replaced by any fancy equipment. It's very grounding for me. I write, produce, record and mix all my music. I collabed with @darsmadebeats and he helped me master this track and really bring it all to life. So grateful for him and his ear.

What was the most challenging part of bringing this project to life, from the initial idea to the final recording?

The most challenging part of this project was really getting the right production around my lyrics. Everything else was so organic after that.

What has been the most motivating force in creating your music?

Simply just inspiring others to live and to love. Love makes the world go round.

Where do you see your sound and artistry heading in the future? Are there any exciting new directions you're exploring?

Honestly, there is no telling. And that's what I love the most. As humans, we are constantly evolving and changing and growing and I carry that on with my art. The thought of it always excites me.

Was there ever a time when you emotionally felt, “I can’t do this anymore”? Can you tell us why this happened and how you found the strength to continue?

Almost everyday. But then I read the messages that random strangers and fans send me. People that I have never met, but they tell me how much my music has helped them and how much it keeps them going. That is more than enough for to want to keep going with my art.

How do you feel about social media?

I hate it lol. Hate every part of it. It's so mind numbing. It's so demeaning. It creates a false sense of reality. But at the end of the day, I also see it as a tool for creatives that is not going anywhere for a long time. So might as well make use of it.

What is the most motivating thing a fan or anyone has ever told you about your music?

"Your music has genuinely saved my life. Thank you for being you." Reading that brought me to tears. I am still speechless by that...
