If you’re a fan of horror and heavy music, brace yourselves—because Ice Nine Kills just unleashed a killer video for their latest single, "A Work of Art." Inspired by Terrifier 3 (yes, the movie with the nightmare-fuel clown), the band released the track alongside the film’s drop this week. And in true Ice Nine Kills fashion, there’s an insane cinematic music video on the way featuring the Art the Clown, played by David Howard Thornton.

If you’re not already hyped, let me put it this way: this is about to be a horror/metal crossover we never knew we needed.

INK frontman Spencer Charnas is living his horror-loving dreams, saying, “The Terrifier franchise gave us Art the Clown, the greatest new horror icon in decades. We are beyond honored by the invitation to play within the viciously delightful universe Damien Leone and his incredible team have created.”

Spencer really nailed it—the INK and Terrifier fanbases totally overlap, and this collab has been screaming to happen.

For anyone who’s been keeping up with Ice Nine Kills, this kind of horror-metal fusion is what they do best. Their past albums, The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood, have been literal love letters to slasher flicks and horror classics like Scream and Friday the 13th. Every track is a mini horror story packed with brutal riffs and those heavy breakdowns we can’t get enough of. So yeah, "A Work of Art" is set to follow that same bloody path.

The teaser for the track is everything we could’ve hoped for: creepy, violent, and just plain awesome. And from what we’ve seen, Art the Clown’s appearance in the music video is going to be wild—especially that mosh-pit scene (good luck surviving that!). If you’re into gnarly visuals and chaotic energy, this video’s gonna be one for the books.

With Terrifier 3 becoming a huge deal in the horror scene, Ice Nine Kills couldn’t have picked a better time for this crossover. They’ve completely owned the space where metal meets horror, and fans are here for it. This collab feels like a celebration of everything chaotic, gruesome, and unapologetically dark—just like the band itself.

So, whether you're hitting the theaters for Terrifier 3 or blasting "A Work of Art" on Spotify, get ready for a seriously twisted experience. It’s gonna be loud, it’s gonna be bloody, and it’s gonna be everything we love about Ice Nine Kills.

Terrifier 3Terrifier 3 is dropping in theaters on October 11, 2024—just in time for Halloween! Get ready for the return of Art the Clown, who’s bound to bring even more chills and thrills to the big screen. It’s the perfect way to kick off the spooky season!
