Holy Fool drops a grunge hit, “On A Sunday,” and it’s absolute fire. We guarantee you will love this track every day of the week!

Right off the bat, the music video is energizing from the opening note, and then, followed by such dynamic and impressive vocals by this artist, we were on our feet! “On a Sunday” will stick in your brain all day until Sunday. The beat is dynamic and equally infectious. The cymbals on top of the mix were perfectly laid, bringing the party element to this track. Holy Fool on the guitar and all the aforementioned make this song a killer track. The drops and rises are absolute fire. Images of the Sun beating down, melting an ice pop, and overheating a sweaty Holy Fool are perfectly edited to snatch your attention and keep your brain to this song's melody. The airplane mixed in with jittery camerawork is somehow just the right touch!  The drum fills keep impressing us as the song continues. Holy Fool hits us with perfectly delivered and really clever lyrics like “You’re just a notion gone in a dream,” “It's all just a lie, it’s all an illusion”. This song slaps!

This production team did the musical arrangement absolutely justice, with a fantastic mix and master that sits perfectly within the indie grunge vibe this song delivered in every other way. We learned they are completed by a regular collaborator, Joshua Woolf, and feature turns from esteemed London musicians such as James Larter and Fat White Family’s Fells Guilherme.

Quote we found about the artist and the music:

“Holy Fool was born from the mind of Lorne MacFadyen, blending elements of Alternative Garage Rock, Dark Country, 70s Americana with melancholic songwriting and dark humour in a folk soaked Scottish Rock n Roll sound”

Finally, we found the cover artwork to be really relevant because it foreshadowed the camerawork, feel, and essence of the music video all in one photo. This was a fantastic use of creativity and planning. After watching the video, the release cover is now iconic.

We predict a big splash when more ears hear from this artist. Now it’s your turn, pick 5 friends and share this track with the tagline “you heard an underappreciated artist from me” and then stream and playlist Holy Fool’s, “On A Sunday”
