You get ‘Fries & Wings’… confused? Well, that's exactly what the power duo Rubber has done with their new single. Combining their R&B, Funk, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Soul influences. If you listen closely to the lyrics it may sound like random words put together but it’s much more. With a simple catchy chord progression played on a rich and warm electric piano, combined with Andrew's complex driving lead vocal that brings it all together for one low-key party anthem.
Here's what the band had to say about it-
“This song is my Mariah Carey slow-groove club anthem,” says Andrew (Lead Singer) who counts ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’ as one of his strongest influences. "We want this song to feel like that moment during a wild night out where you access a sliver of peace when you feel at home in the chaos of a drunken crowd".
Rubber is a Philly-based, writing-producing duo made up of singer-lyricist, Andrew Loper, and producer/multi-instrumentalist, John Della Franco. Meeting in 2018 at Temple University both Andrew and John had no idea that they would soon be making waves and pathing the way for others with their own flare.
