We had the chance to hear the latest EP release “Hey Darlin’” by OKKADY and we were truly impressed with this performance.


The soft yet dramatic opening of the title track "Hey Darlin'" features a restrained musical arrangement that sets the stage with thrilling anticipation. This captivating introduction draws you in, building excitement for what’s to come.


Drew Frey’s opening lyrics:


“I know this love isn’t perfect / but it wouldn’t be worth it if it was”


are both profoundly relatable and deeply endearing, expressing an intimate honesty that resonates immediately. As the song evolves, punchy and groovy beats with crisp precision create a solid foundation that elevates the track’s brilliance. Drew’s intonation and vocal styling are mesmerizing, delivering a performance that feels both dynamic and heartfelt.


When Keturah Church’s incredible vocals enter, the synergy between the two artists becomes undeniable. Their chemistry results in a commanding and electrifying performance.
