We absolutely fell hard for dräco’s latest release, 'music from my bedroom'.

The opening track, “intro”, immediately captivated us with its introspective and ethereal vibe. It serves as a stunning prelude to the album, delivering a sense of depth and purpose. The deliberate choice of delivery creates an atmosphere that feels not only substantial but also essential to the album's overall experience. “intro” transcends the usual role of an album opener, it’s genuinely enjoyable on its own and sets the perfect tone for what’s to come. The lyrics, “music from my bedroom and - it starts - now”, takes the concept of an audio palate cleanser to another level. Crafting an impactful intro is no small feat, yet dräco has absolutely nailed it. It’s both refreshing and meaningful, promising to remain a staple in future listens.

So it's before we even reached the first full song, we were hooked! Now diving into “hunnis” and it did not disappoint. The song begins with a mesmerizing interplay of volume dynamics, as the opening synths create a hypnotic foundation. Supporting this are deep, subtly reverberating bass beats that provide a calming yet engaging effect. The vocals transition from breathy and chilled to powerful and commanding, drawing us in with lyrics like, “Tom Cruise can’t handle the truth / music from my bedroom to you.”

These words showcase dräco’s ability to forge a genuine connection with listeners. The delivery carries an undeniable swagger, yet the lyrics convey a dual message: they’re personal and introspective while simultaneously welcoming us into dräco’s world. This balance of authenticity and relatability fosters the kind of deep artist-fan bond that many aspire to create but few truly achieve.

Adding to the richness of “hunnis” is the delicate acoustic guitar riff layered in the background. This subtle yet groundbreaking addition is a rarity in rap music, offering a bittersweet touch that elevates the track to another level. The melancholy undertones in the delivery hint at a desire for “hunnis” (money), not solely for material gain but to uplift and support his brothers, a sentiment that’s both selfless and admirable. It’s a connection that deepens our appreciation for dräco as an artist, someone we can truly respect and root for. When Wunda Y joins in, his unique tonation perfectly complements the groove, making for an outstanding collaboration that rounds out the song beautifully.

The next standout, “nuisance/desiderium”, introduces a vocal delivery that’s as unique as it is captivating. The sustained and elevated carry at the end of each lyric line adds a subtle yet thrilling layer of intrigue. The synths in the background are almost subliminal, requiring focused listening to fully appreciate their depth. Meanwhile, the gentle yet irresistibly catchy rhythmic beats keep the vocals at the forefront, allowing them to remain the song’s emotional and sonic centerpiece.

The cadence of “need- I need new (various lyrics present here)” transforms the vocals into an instrument of their own, a remarkable skill that dräco wields effortlessly. This distinctive quality is sure to astonish audiences worldwide. Just when we thought the song couldn’t surprise us further, heavy, distorted electric guitars drop in, adding a low-end intensity that feels like being launched into an otherworldly void. As the guitars intertwine with high-end syncopation, the soundscape shifts dramatically, leaving us floating in an ethereal emptiness. It’s a jaw-dropping moment, amplified by trippy, reverberating vocals and ingenious rhymes that demand repeat listens to fully absorb.

Finally, we arrive at “home”, where dräco’s lyrics paint a vivid picture of existential longing and the feeling of being a “lost soul searching.” The track delves into emotional depths rarely explored in hip-hop, making it stand out in the genre. The dragging beats and reversed synths create an erratic, overwhelming atmosphere that perfectly mirrors the song’s themes. Adding to this poignancy are the violins, which trail the heartfelt rap delivery, injecting sharpness and raw emotion into the composition.

Once again, dräco reaches out to his listeners, inviting us into his world and making us feel at “home” alongside him. It’s an intimate and moving conclusion to an album that’s as emotionally resonant as it is sonically impressive. We love you too, dräco!

This album is truly next-level. dräco is poised to make waves in the industry and among fans alike.
