Dorine Levy released “Feel Alive - Produced by BQ” and we are feeling the heat from this fire release!
Dorine Levy is a total boss. This Canadian-born, Tel Aviv-based artist just burst onto the scene with her latest release “Feel Alive - Produced by BQ”, and it's a total fire vibe. The opening of the song is a totally stripped acapella presentation displaying the incredible power vocals of this emerging artist. There is an absolute wow factor to this. It's raw and it makes us feel we are experiencing the true and vulnerable, yet still powerful artist’s ability with no filters. We think this artist has this really unique, melodic approach to indie pop that's just so refreshing. It's no wonder she's already getting love from the likes of WONDERLAND, SHORTLIST, and MTV. This girl's got serious talent.
The supporting arrangement has an incredible beat that rapidly disseminates the music. It reminded us of the disco days of Donna Summer which we haven’t heard a sound like in decades. This made this artist’s sound super fresh and feel like Dorine is a risk taker with very explosive and amazing results of a song that captivated us. The supporting arrangement is also very ethereal and synth laden with really delicious ear candy.
Finally, we felt the production of this track was outstanding in that the track was crystal clear. The mix had a very well thought out placement of tracks creating a very cohesive end result. There was another moment of uniquity and it was the placement of a more rock beat that was introduced halfway through the song and was a really good choice. This of course was brought to the project by Producer BQ which was a tremendously smart decision by Levy.
We must return to the vocals once more and say that Dorine Levy has a very beautiful tone and could sing anything from pop all the way to Broadway and it would sound just as beautiful.
