Dean Lewis brings unmatched energy and emotion with his latest release "The Epilogue."
Featuring powerful, raw tracks like "Empire," this album showcases his incredible journey from his early acoustic sound to a more mature and reflective style. With unforgettable melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and stunning production, "The Epilogue" is sure to resonate deeply with fans and newcomers alike.
Later this month, the multiplatinum singer-songwriter will kick off his biggest global tour yet. The Epilogue World Tour begins at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle, Australia on October 30, before heading to Europe and North America in 2025. Tickets are available now.
The lead single "Empire" was recently performed at the 2024 ACRA Awards. Dean explains the song is about letting a friend go to find their own path, reflecting on their support of him over the years. The emotional video, directed by Landon and Luke from Altar8, captures the stormy tension of letting someone go while yearning for them to return. Dean says, "It’s epic, with big choruses that gave me chills in the studio."
The Epilogue includes 12 tracks, featuring hits like "Rest" with Sasha Alex Sloan, and "All I Ever Wanted," which has topped charts and streaming platforms. The album also includes "The Last Bit Of Us," co-produced by Afterhrs, and deeply personal tracks like "Memories" and "Trust Me Mate."
Dean crafted The Epilogue between tours, drawing on early inspirations while embracing the raw, acoustic style that defined his debut. He describes the album as a fresh chapter, summing up the past and pointing to what's next, saying, "I’ve grown but still feel that same youthful excitement."
After playing major festivals across Europe and the US, Dean is ready to launch the tour in Australia. Joining him are Daniel Seavey and Rachael Fahim for the Australia and New Zealand dates.
