When we heard the story behind this song, about it being literally the fear of missing out because this 14-year-old teenager decided to dive headfirst into music and miss out on typical teenage life experiences, it just added more excitement. The opening lyrics are some of the best we’ve ever heard, and when Carson Ferris delivers, “Last night, I dreamed that all my dreams came true,” it's such a powerful lyrical expression. When I hear something of that quality, I wonder how we’ve never heard it or thought of it before!! We can already tell we are going to be huge fans of this artist. If FOMO is the fear of missing out, then this song is the embodiment of enjoying music.
Additionally, the very catchy musical arrangement will bring a smile to your face. When you get to the build-up, you’re gonna jump out of your chair when you hear, “It’s not so easy to let go of all the things you want the most,” because this song really gets exciting with a tremendous beat and a terrific, unique, and powerful delivery by Carson Ferris.
