Kyle Preston’s “Fear Not the Water” is a cinematic experience from the moment you hit play. We chose a quiet, distraction-free environment and closed our eyes so we could absorb and partake fully in the experience of this creation.

After reading Kyle Preston’s quote, “I created this music to hopefully join you through your quiet moments. Something to listen to while reading, dreaming, etc. Each track is a story, and I hope it becomes a part of yours.” we wanted to maximize this. ‘Ocean Drifter’ magically replicates the sound you hear when you are on a cruise ship at 4 am, and there is nothing but the combined sound of the ocean, which harrows and powerfully encompasses all of your senses. I was so surprised and shocked at the ability to recreate this, and it was amazing. ‘Magnetic Shore’ was more coy to release its inner twinings initially and slowly entered our thoughts. It seemingly flew about the air in a way that we felt was a butterfly avoiding capture by a small child. Pretty and calming this track is. ‘Fear Not the Water’ was exciting and had a titillating sensation of water bouncing back up in a heavy rain, and then the bassy sounds felt like thunder. It was a beautiful sensation to allow our minds to flow and see these images because of Kyle Preston’s creations with fearless and unbound ambition. The sounds settle in our minds and then return just like thunder. Very exhilarating. ‘The Pull of the Deep’ feels as if we were thousands of leagues beneath the surface, flowing and being gently moved about by the waves.

Kyle Preston’s “Fear Not the Water” is a magical experience that shows what happens when true music is given no boundaries and a creator is free to express themselves. We urge you to take this entire album in and not miss it, especially the final track, ‘Reborn as Art.’ How compelling a name is, and what thoughts we had just imagined how true this is. Each day, something dies and is eaten or ‘Reborn as Art, grows and comes back to us and ’ as Kyle Preston teaches us. This is a true mind-opening and insightful musical sensation that you cannot miss. Stream, playlist, and share Kyle Preston’s “Fear Not the Water” today on your favorite platform.

FYI, we learned a lot about this very accomplished artist you may find very interesting, especially how they have made substantial gains in the sync and video game arena.

From the web, “With a background in astronomy & astrophysics, his work is deeply grounded in scientific realism. His sonic blend of science and art can be heard in a growing list of short and feature-length films, apps, and video games — including the Apple iPad Award Winner and TIME Magazine game of the year Prune as well as the Apple Design Award finalist Hindsight. His music has been described as “otherworldly” by the Los Angeles Times and “minimalist in instrumentation but maximal in tension and emotion” by The New Yorker. His songs, Mariana, Fathom and We’re All We’ve  have been featured on Spotify official playlists including Classical New Releases, Nocturna Cinematica and Ambient X
