We had the chance to check out the latest release from Anie Delgado, “Stranger from the Internet” and we loved it!

The track opens with a sweet, gentle synth that sets the tone perfectly for Anie’s ethereal and sultry vocal performance. Right away, she draws us in with:

“Staring out the window pane / I know your touch / it feels like rain / crazy everything’s changed.”

These lyrics are both powerful and captivating, introducing the story of meeting someone from the internet with poetic intensity.

The song immediately brings the stylings of R&B, yet there's a fresh twist—a slowed-down disco and rock fusion that elevates it beyond the standard R&B track. Anie’s intonation and delivery are exquisite: her voice is breathy, airy, and velvety, filling the room with an alluring mood. She has the control and range to deliver soaring vocals that captivate and amaze.

As the story unfolds, the connection between these two characters deepens—champagne enters the picture, and we hear Anie questioning, “Are you even real??”

One of our favorite lines is:

“If we decide we hate this place / we can move to outer space….”

This lyric perfectly captures the out-of-this-world feelings they’re about to experience, making the song even more thrilling. Anie Delgado’s talent shines brightly here, with her unique lyrical expression and vocal prowess on full display.

The chorus brings a fantastic intensity, doubling in power with each arrangement. Between this and the interlude drops, it’s an exhilarating listen from start to finish.

Adding another layer, the mix and mastering are impeccably done; there’s a hazy quality to the sound, giving it a sexy, sultriness that complements the themes of partying, adventure, and that intoxicating feeling of exploring new places with a stranger.

Emerging pop talent Anie Delgado is capturing hearts with her imaginative storytelling and genre-blurring sound. Based in Los Angeles, Delgado’s music navigates modern love, self-discovery, and the wonder of everyday life, blending nostalgic production with a modern edge. Her voice and style have quickly earned praise from notable publications like Billboard, Earmilk, and Celeb Mix, spotlighting her authentic charm and expressive artistry.

Delgado draws much of her inspiration from real-life moments, particularly her love story with her husband, Brandon Buczek, whom she met on a dating app during a work trip to Los Angeles while still living in New York. From celebrating life’s little wins over “cheap champagne and sushi takeout” to embracing the quirks of starting out together in a modest apartment, Delgado’s songwriting brings these shared experiences to life. “I wanted to capture this phase where we’re just beginning,” Delgado shares, “living in a basic apartment, no fancy decor, but savoring every little celebration. That, to me, is so genuine and beautiful.”

As she releases new music in 2024, Delgado continues to draw in listeners with a sound that fuses soulful R&B vibes with unexpected hints of disco and rock. This fresh blend has quickly become her signature, layering her heartfelt lyrics with arrangements that feel both familiar and entirely new. With her upcoming EP, Delgado promises to dive even deeper into personal themes and new sonic directions, giving fans a window into her evolving artistry.

With a remarkable ability to capture life’s tender, transformative moments, Anie Delgado offers a musical experience that resonates with a warmth and relatability rare in today’s pop scene. Her momentum only grows as she gears up for more releases that are sure to further establish her as an artist to watch.

“Stranger from the Internet” is a must-listen—a true testament to Anie Delgado’s artistry and vision! Playlist and stream it today.
